I had a wonderful stay at The Golden Lion. The staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate my disabled wife's needs. The location was perfect, right in the center of town with its own free parking. The room was clean and recently refurbished, with a separate shower as requested. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the bar and there was a great selection of beers. The room also had a lovely selection of tea, coffee, and biscuits, and even free earplugs in case of any noise. The breakfast was freshly cooked and had a good variety.
